I’ve never really been into photography, but I love taking shots with my drone. It’s a bit of a cliché, but I love seeing the world from the unique aerial perspective that only a drone can deliver. Patterns and lines become apparent from the air in ways that you can’t appreciate from the ground. (And it helps that my home, Hong Kong, is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.)

It’s probably not a surprise that I love drones. Whenever I play a video game with a free camera, I always swing it around to discover new angles and perspectives, to examine the (digital) environment from different viewpoints. In a weird way, a drone feels a lot like that camera system in a game — I’ve even remapped the drone’s controls to mirror how it works on a controller.
